GOOGLASS touched Future and VANISHED. Will Come Back SOON?

Google launched and started selling a prototype of Google Glass to qualified "Glass Explorers" in the US on April 15, 2013, for a limited period for $1,500, before it became available to the public on May 15, 2014. It was criticized and faced legislative action due to privacy and safety concerns. It was a set back to gadget lover who wanted to own one.

We all have been adapting technology but at times I feel because of lack of adaptability in human nature we have to re-invent the wheel. Google Glass boomed the technology industry in US. We must admit US is 10 years ahead of us. What happens there get reflected in India after 10 years. We are trying to fill that gap. Some of unfolded features of the device are listed in blog that might help everyone here;

Google Glass are most talked and future gadget that you can expect to see with everyone replacing your hand phone. Yes, with enhanced features. Though, it could not make a lot buzz in the market as it was banned at many places like Bank, Restro, Historical places even at public places as you can film anyone without knowing him/her.

Pros of Glass
  • Actual Hands Free - It eliminates your phone, ear phone & smart watch. All demands are full-fill on just a voice command.
  • Life Easier - This is especially true for active people who are fond of appss like Strava Run/Cycle, GolfSight, and Google Maps. You are able to live moment while exploring the world at the same time. Rather staring at your smartphone screen, you can stare at your environment.
  • Always On - Leave all worries about connecting to a network or opening an app when you’re wearing Google Glass — it’s always on. Beat to take a picture, share your status on social media, or find your way with a compass. All just a command away.
Cons of Glass
  • Health Concern - Google itself claims that continuous use of glass may make you feel eye strain or develop a headache when wearing the device — just like when wearing normal glasses. Google also ask seek recommendation who has gone through Lasik surgery to consult with their doctor about the potential negative impact Glass may have on their eyes. Not allowed to child below age of 13
  • Eye Sight - Study also has confirmed that continuous uses of glass will have potential negative impact on eyes and some people may loss of vision even.
  • Not All Parties On - Movie industry already have banned and places where they maintained privacy are preparing to sue the company.
With all the analysis I would suggest Google should go ahead and re-launch the device with changes. Since they foresee future through technology and I am sure they could find out way to overcome such silly mistakes ok which is done initially and will become the win-win situation for all and happily adopted by all.
