BJP Sankalpa Patra is a typical ruling party manifesto that does not have any captivating declaration. This also shows the BJP is assured that they will come in power again with a clear mandate.
The ruling party has kept low on freebies and strong on nationalism and also have tried to make country count all the affords/achievement that has been made in its tenure. But manifesto is silent of key features like Jobs, Media Monitoring, Economic growth. Comparatively BJP manifesto does not stand against INC manifesto. INC has the edge of making a big declaration since they are not in power.
Ram Mandir has been shifted to 36 pages and silent on black money, GST & Demonetization which is evident enough that BJP also feels somewhere these were not the right step or execution was impecunious.
Detailed analysis of Manifesto:
Nation First: Almost similar to INC both are talking to making army stronger. Zero tolerance on terrorism which has been observed during the tenure. Strengthen the national security system including all forces by providing advanced equipment etc. Yet again promise to remove 370 and 35A from J&K and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit. Alas, there has not been any movement from 2014 on this.
Doubling Farmers InCome: Schemes are there to double the income of farmers though execution remains a problem with BJP. Multiple schemes are promised to launch; Investment free loan for 5 years, PMKSN, Quality seeds, Warehouse network, increase in organic farming, etc.
Targeting 3rd Rank Economy: India is a growing country and it has the potential to reach 1st level. BJP has set the target for herself. I guess this would be an aggressive target that has been set by BJP. Whatever BJP has done in its first term will get reflected in the second term. As an economist next 5 years going to be crucial for India beat whosoever wins. Though there is a relaxation on tax policy, GST implementation continues to be challenged, 100 lakh crore investment (Where and who and what sector). No significant growth on "Make in India". The unorganized sector is not been treated as it should be which is considered to be a backbone of a country like us. Startups results are yet to be seen. These are the obstacles that BJP had to overcome first.
Infrastructure: BJP played low here whereas this is one of the performing ministries throughout the tenure who has been doing exceptionally well headed by Nitin Gadkari. Flyovers and Road India has experience that never before. These should be more talked and could be added to the slogan used in an election. Since every individual is touched with roads and have experience advanced highways/flyover/bridge. Railways introduced many new superfast trains. I guess there they could not control the price hike, therefore, they played low. Road Connectivity, Jal Sakti, New Airpot construction, Swach Bharat (Successful mission), etc continue to be on the radar.
Health for all & Good Governance: After a successful launch of Ayushman Bharat one of the largest healthcare programme. BJP is committing to set health wellness centers 1.5 Lacs. This is similar to what INC has declared in its manifesto increase in doctors/MBBS seats by 1.5 times and eliminates Tuberculosis etc.
BJP once again repeats of getting all election done at once and reforms in civil services and making it corruption free, Polic reforms, Judicial reforms, etc. But silent on Media. BJP is the only party has not said anything about media role and no promise on bringing any law/introducing the governing body to monitor them which creates doubt among the public.

Yuva Bharat, Education for all, Women empowerment, Culture Heritage; where repetition has been done. 33% reservation promise in assembly. Youth to explore the opportunity to be a job creator instead of a seeker. No space for the job opportunity. Exploring all option to build the Ram temple within the constitution. Sabarimala judgment to be challenged before supreme courted included.
