There are two types of democracies in the world. One is a direct democracy, in which citizens of the country actively participate in all political decision-making. Second is indirect democracy, in which sovereign power remains with an elected representative. Citizens are given right to cast their vote once in stipulated tenure to select their representative. Hence, people of India do not choose the PM instead Member Parliament as their representative and MP are free to choose anyone as it's a leader (PM).
The irony of India is that people have been influenced too much that they forgot the basic rule of the constituency that is choosing MP and overcoming by not looking into MP eligibility, screening its capability of putting their voice in parliament. How strong/influencing he would be to get the development of their constituency and would he be able to put the local issue in parliament strongly? Democracy can be defined as the government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Citizens of my country have gone crazy and using no mind moreover ready to do anything to ensure that their favorite party wins. Irrespective of which candidate fighting from their constituency. This is an alarming situation in a country like us. We are taken a step back wherein no issue is being talked. We see daily stupid statements from party leaders to digress the public from the real issue and no one is held accountable for past 5/65 years work. This election has taken us back in the '90s.
I urge everyone to take a pledge and do not get influenced by any of the party. Do the scrutiny of candidate fighting in your constituency and make your decision keeping him in mind, not the party he belongs to as he can change the party at any time or party can choose/change the PM candidate at any time without having your consent. As you are only choosing MP.
BE WISE BE RESPONSIBLE!!!
